For the record: if any server gets confused by such a character in the
UA string, it is probably non standard compliant. There is a simple fix
/ workaround for this, as mentioned above (set useragent in sip.conf /
pjsip.conf).

This bug will be closed in the next release but only due to the fact
that the minor issue of the sample pjsip.conf was fixed.
