The user agent in the Debian package does not deviate from Upstream.
However, the version string in the Debian package includes a '~'
character that is not included in Upstream.
sip.conf already includes an example line (remmed out):
;useragent=Asterisk PBX ; Allows you to change the user agent string
; The default user agent string also contains the Asterisk
; version. If you don't want to expose this, change the
; useragent string.
Likewise in pjsip.conf (for Asterisk >= 13):
;user_agent=Asterisk PBX SVN-branch-12-r404375 ; Value used in User Agent
; header for SIP requests and
; Server header for SIP
; responses (default: "Asterisk
; PBX SVN-branch-12-r404375")
I see indeed that this example configuration file needs fixing. The
default value uses the current version, of course.
So I don't see anything that needs fixing here. Apart from the minor
issue with the text of the description of the pjsip.conf option
"user_agent". But that is for upstream.
