I have sat down and did another stab at it. The repositories for
OpenSuSE and Arch Linux were very helpful to find the necessary
settings, but it still looks messy.

The code is at
https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-voip-team/linphone-stack/linphone-desktop .
Together with the packages already in experimental this COULD work. I
can't test right now because I'm running out of time and I am sitting in
front of a stable system, so no easy way to run experimental.

Anyone willing to take a look?
