Are you in touch with them, and are they subscribed to our list?

Personally I am of the opinion that we coordinate our work here on the
list - not on Salsa - and that it therefore is important to ensure that
new members join not only at Salsa but also subscribe to our list.

...but perhaps I am alone in that opinion - others feel free to disagree
(but preferably share your opinion here on the list as I might easily
miss conversations done at Salsa).
