If you mean pointers concretely to the IRC/Matrix address then please
look at the URI just above (and if you already did but found it
confusing then say so, because then I want to understand how it can
perhaps be improved).

If you mean that you are new to IRC and Matrix, then - assuming that you
use Debian on your desktop computer - I suggest that you install the
Matrix client nheko (sudo apt install nheko), create an account e.g. at
matrix.org, and then join the room listed on above URI.  And if you get
lost in doing that just say so and I will try guide you in more detail.
