shouldn't we use some smaller deb-revision than "-1" in the changelog as long 
as we haven't really released it? And I think we will not release it within 
some days.

first of all, because everybody that uses packages that are builded the 
"pkg-xen" way will have already -1 installed and when it is really released 
it might not be automaticly updated for those people.

I used "-0" + my revsion so that if some day "real" debian packages are 
released nobody is confused about versioning. maybe we should use something 
like "-0.5" or "0.9" for now.
