interessting... I didn't know something about this project till now.

But in the changelog the last xen version meantioned is 2.0.6. Even if some of 
the news said that is compatible to xen-unstable, it looks a bit like 
vm-tools was not really in development for some time and we should check if 
it's really compatible to xen 3.0.1, because xen on the other side was very 
active in the last months.

but neverless we should split hypervisor and userspace tools in our packages 
and also might think about just recommed the userspace tools.
