that's true, the xen-unstable packages are older than the xen-3.0 packages and 
they will not work correctly with the last xen-enabled kernel, I think.

Please install the normal xen packages (without using the "unstable" ones) and 
retry once again.

@Bastian: Do we still need the unstable packages in sid? If not, can you 
remove them? It seems so that these packages are confusing more users then 
really helping someone.
