Dear Thomas, dear Matteo, dear all,

libervia 0.8, formerly known as salutatoi, has been released.
This is the first release with the new name. Great!

Renaming of (binary) packages is a little bit annoying in Debian, e.g.
it involves the NEW queue. Renaming source packages is worse, it breaks
the history of packages in tools, such as our package tracker.

OTOH, staying with the old name (even for the source package only) would
lead to confusion, so I suggest, that we bite the bullet and do the full
renaming game. Fortunately, we are early in the Debian 12 release cycle,
so there is little danger, that delays caused by the renames prevent
libervia from being released with Debian 12.

If I'm not mistaken, the renames would be:

salutatoi (s) -> libervia-backend
sat-xmpp-core (b) -> libervia-core (or libervia-backend?)
sat-xmpp-jp (b) -> libervia-cli
sat-xmpp-primitivus (b) -> libervia-tui
sat-pubsub (s/b) -> libervia-pubsub
sat-templates (s/b) -> libervia-templates
urwid-satext (s/b) -> (no rename yet, it seems)

(s = source package, b = binary package)

What do you think? Shall we do the renaming of both source and binary
packages? And the salsa projects (which is the easist part), too?

Cheers
