Right.  What is your role in this?

I suspect it would be a good idea to start by mergign the spl-linux
packages between Debian and Ubuntu, but the difference is quite large
and I do not know which changes make sense to keep from the two
versions. :)

Right.  I do not know the code enough to have a say in that question,
but thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Btw, what is the source repo for the Ubuntu packages?  The control file
lack VCS links and I only found version specific bzr repos on launchpad.

Btw, does it make sense to make a APT repo for the Debian packages, to
make it easier to test them?
