But upstream _DO_ provide it! Not our upstream (not because the code is
bad or "unfit", but because no one have the time/interest to spend the
time to review it - slightly different), but the "top" upstream do!
This functionality have existed in ZFS all the way back to [early?]
Sun Solaris, via OpenZFS, Illumos, *BSD etc down to us (skipping ZoL).
So anyone familiar with ZFS on other platforms would very likely
_expect_ this and be somewhat cross if we DIDN'T provide it. Maybe
not enough to fight over it on the Issue tracker, but still.
But that's just my opinion of it.
