I'm not sure. I have an idea of one thing that may possibly be the 
cause. The config file on gluck contains:

sender_reject = 
admin@debian.org:webmaster@127.0.0.1:freemail.net:daumvod@hanmail.net:romymichele.com 


Note the @127.0.0.1. I'm wondering whether exim will try to look for an 
A record that it can compare with 127.0.0.1, and fails when it can't do 
so. This would be rather odd behaviour, and certainly isn't what I would 
interpret the exim manual as suggesting, but it's something that might 
be worth further investigation.

Apart from that I can't think what would cause this.
