  Thanks for your input. However, this kind of bug cannot be handled in
the debian package but must be handle upstream. I can forward this bug
to the upstream BTS but without timings nor precise examples, it would
be difficult for me to argue.
  Would you be willing to report this behavior yourself in the upstream
BTS ( http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/bts/ ) ? This way, you will be
able to argue with upstream and answer to their questions. And if you
send me the issue number, I will then link this debian bug to the upstream
issue.
