[Python-apps-team] Bug#843683: etm: Doesn't show in GNOME Software

It looks like Debian Stretch's GNOME flavor will ship the Software app
(gnome-software) by default. etm does not show up in the Software app.
Although it ships an appstream metadata file, it uses an old format.
Also, etm should not ship .xpm icons because in my experience, those
icons can confuse the appstream parsers.
