[Python-apps-team] Bugfix: slingshot

Dear all,

the develepement of slingshot seems to have been rather inactive in
recent time.  However, I have written a bugfix and would like to
propose it being apllied to the packaged version of slingshot.  You
can find the bugfix here (https://github.com/HAL20000/slingshot).

Would You please tell me, if this contribution might be considered
in the next release?
