cool -- thanks!  BUT indeed changelog should close (upon check) those
issues which got resolved upstream with this release, I think the ones below:

#592563 [n|+|  ] [python-sympy] sympy.galgebra.latex_ex.xdvi() creates a file named NUL on non-Linux architectures
#585334 [m|  |  ] [python-sympy] python-sympy: Python string exceptions no more allowed in Python 2.6

and this should be dealt with

#592566 [n|  |  ] [python-sympy] python-sympy: should recommend python-numpy

and obviously should close

#635364 [n|  |  ] [python-sympy] please package fresh upstream release (7.0 ATM)

and sure thing copyright years should be adjusted in debian/copyright 


btw -- are you a part of the team -- may be you could just commit your
changes into SVN?
