I have pushed some changes to salsa to get this moving. However I
noticed that upstream itself has disabled vbz temporarily[1]. so it
makes sense to support this for us only when upstream does so as well.
So we should re-visit this in the next version.

For now, I reckon we are in a sensible state on this package (except
this has unused copies of vbz). I'm leaving the state of this package in
salsa as is (with my changes) for now.
