Here are some very good news for owner's of EPSON scanners.
EPSON KOWA has released a frontend for EPSON scanners. They
also enhanced the backend which is also distributed in the
package.=20

Their goal was to make scanning as easy as with the Windows or
Mac drivers and to provide the same image quality. The software
can be downloaded from EPSON KOWA's web site:

The backend enhancements will be included in the Sane backend=20
