Hello.
About a month ago I noticed some problems with kernel 2.2.20,sane 1.0.9
and umax 2100S. Now, I moved to kernel 2.4.20 and I have the same problem=
:
making perview is working OK, but when I try to scan - it fails with
kernel mesg:
ncr53c810a-0-<5,*>: target did not report SYNC.
ncr53c810a-0-<5,0>: extraneous data discarded.
ncr53c810a-0-<5,0>: COMMAND FAILED (89 0) @c1319800.

So I switch back to 1.0.3 - it works on 2.4.20 OK, too.
