[sane-devel] epson 2450 ieee1394/scsi ID change?

SANE evidently is looking for an ID other than GT-9700 for my Epson 2450
... and I can't find a list of these SCSI IDs anywhere to make the change.
 Evidently it is this ID that is preventing SANE from working with this
scanner when using firewire - it works just fine via USB, since the ID
change was taken care of by KHK a while back for USB.

Where are these ID strings kept?  Is it something a user can change?
