SaneTwain is TWAIN compliant datasource which is able to connect to a SANE 
scanner backend. By querying the SANE backend it builds a GUI which can be 
used to set the options (or capabilities) of the scanner. It offers preview 
and scanning of multiple regions.

Relevant changes since 1.07:

- 1 bit and 8 bit images are now saved and transferred as such
- added option for the username to use
- fixed bug which could cause banding on certain backends
- added an option to keep the window always on top
- when the sanetwain.ini file is read-only, SaneTwain no longer tries to
  save the current settings
- added the option to save default values for options to the
  sanetwain.ini file
