[sane-devel] Microtek ScanMaker II ?

Hi,

is there anyone who can give help to get my scanner working? He did work fine 
on my SuSE 5.3. with the SCSI card AHA-1542. No I have another PC  with SuSE 
7.3 and Kernel 2.4.17.

With xsane, the scanner starts and makes only one scan followed by a reset to 
the AHA-1542. Trying the next scan gives the message: "Konnte Scanner nicht 
starten ungültiges Argument"

I followed the instructions in the "sane-scsi.5" 
and tryed the kernel 2.4.17 with SCSI buffersize 32 kB, but this does not 
help.

Next I compiled a new kernel 2.2.20. The scanner does what he should do.
Only one fault: After each scan he waits for abot 105 sec. to start the next 
one.

I like to use the scanner with the kernel 2.4.xx
Any idea?
