This is just the result of writing my message to the mail-list and speaking 
Russian by icq at the same time. :) Sorry, it should have been ncr_53c400a of 
course. (Cyrillic and Latin "c" are the same key on keyboard)

No, when I do something in root console, I never switch the keyboard to the 
Cyrillic layout.
