Ok. As far as I can see both the hp and the epson backends don't
support this option. Maybe the maintainers of these backends can
give some more details if such an option would make sense.

SANE in general provides the option "SANE_NAME_SCAN_Y_RESOLUTION", and
some backends seem to use it (e.g. abaton, artec, umax).
