Thank you Oliver and Henning for your replies regarding my problem! I think
I will now try to run the scanner with windows-drivers using Wine. If that
doesnt work, I will simply buy a new, Linux-compatible scanner - since they
dont cost that much. I dont know how to write a backend - so thanks to all of
you who can do it and who make it possible for the rest of all Linux Useres to
use their scanners!
