[sane-devel] Problems with xsane settings.

I am using xsane 0.91 on Fedora Core 1 and have observed a few oddities
with xsane settings:

1. The "Preset area" on the Preview window is always on "full size" no
matter what it has been closed with. I would like to have it on A4 as
default. I can't find any way to set it to that.

2. Some setup values are not kept. That includes gamma, brightness and
contrast values. No matter what I set them to xsane seems to pick its
own strange values.

Are these known problems or have I misunderstood something?
