[sane-devel] Problem with scanadf using high resolutions

Hi,

we are using scanadf for a long time now for sending fax in resolution
100 or 200 dpi. Using it at 300 dpi gives an IO error after the first or
second page:

scanadf: sane_read: Error during device I/O
Error during device I/O

Scanning in 100 or 200 dpi we scan more then 10 pages without any
problems. Scanning at 300 dpi after each scanned page scanadf pauses for
a while and it continues scanning or it gives the error message above.
Maybe a timeout problem. 

Used setup:

- Scanner HP MFC 3320 (device hpoj:mlc:usb:HP_LaserJet_3300_3310_3320)
connected over USB cable
- sane version 1.0 12, sane-backend 1.0.13 (current debian unstable)

I see no kernel error message from the usb bus in the logs.
