[sane-devel] viceo alternative?

  I'm interested in developing a gpl'ed alternative to the viceo backend and 
was wondering if anyone is already doing this.  I have a few usb snoopy logs 
which I ran through the parseusbsnoop.awk script to clean them up which show 
traffic during use in windows to help me along.  The scanner I can use to 
develop with is an e4 asic based Primax 'colorado 2400u', which also 
identifies itself as a Memorex Maxx 6136u Scanner.
