Maybe the hpoj backend doesn't check if the scanner is ready before
scanning the next page?

Ugly workaround: use a script that calls scanimage in a loop with a
"sleep 10" (or similar) after each run.

sane-devel@mostang.com was the old mailing list address before we
moved to alioth.debian.org. It's dead since quite some time.
