Hello

I try to use the Avision 630 CS (SCSI) with debian sarge in the network.

But even on the server I can use only the gray, dithered and line-art
modes. Here is the output of scanimage (no color mode available)

############
server:~# scanimage --help -d avision:/dev/sg0
Usage: scanimage [OPTION]...

....

Options specific to device `avision:/dev/sg0':
  Scan mode:
    --mode Line Art|Dithered|Gray [Gray]
Selects the scan mode (e.g., lineart, monochrome, or color).
    --resolution 50..1200dpi (in steps of 10) [300]
Sets the resolution of the scanned image.
    --speed 0..4 (in steps of 1) [0]
Determines the speed at which the scan proceeds.
 .....

List of available devices:
    avision:/dev/sg0

so I tried the following

The scanner ist recognized with color modes available. So why I can't use them?

Any help would be great. Scanning in gray mode works normal.

Some outer information, may be helpfull:

server:~# scanimage -V
