Looks like somebody is jumping the gun.  libesint54.so does not exist.
It is not part of "the EPSON AVASYS SANE distribution" (iscan, I
presume).  The esfw54.bin file should be included somewhere in the
Windows driver.  Use cabextract (or similar) to pry it out if you must
(not that it is of much use ...).
