[sane-devel] Mustek Scan Express 1248UB+

Hi,

I'm contemplating buying the above scanner:

... but I'm unsure as to whether or not it's supported by
SANE.

The compatibility page has the 'ScanExpress 1200UB+'
(supported - good) and the 'ScanExpress 1248 UB' ... but no
mention of the 1248UB+. In fact, www.mustek.co.uk only
mentions the 1200UB+ and the 1248UB ... no 1248UB+ there
either.

Dabs' part number is 98-174-00010, which _seems_ to
correspond to the 1248UB on some other sites, from a quick
google, but I thought I'd see if anyone here knows more
before I bought one.

Incidentally, if it is really a 1248UB, then it produces
stripes ...if I get one I'm happy to help test / debug in
order to sort this out.
