[sane-devel] sane-find-devices ok, not scanimage -L

Hi people

I recently switched to kernel 2.6.11 (from 2.4.28 - what a jump!) and my
scanner (Snapscan - AGFA) refused to work. To ease the work, the main
problem was that snapscan.conf required the vendor/model id code in it:
sane-find-devices did report the scanner, scanimage -L didn't. A little
strange because, according to the man-page, the 1212u _is_ supported!

usb 0x06bd 0x2061

in the config file as device...

Some texts suggest that 'usb' is enough - for me it wasn't! I found this
solution in a text referring to the epson backend.

I hope that some others will save time with this.
