[sane-devel] SANE will not recognize scanner device

The scanner device is working.
Next question, how do I set the access rigths for the scanner device.
Only root can use the scanner. How do I make the scanner accessible for the 
other users? The only option I can find is a "chmod" wich worsk temporarly. I 
am looking for a permanent solution. Please help.
