Do you know about
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=127524

Try if you can scan after
rmmod usblp
which will make printing impossible.

To print again you must do
modprobe usblp
and you may have to do
rccups restart
and/or you may have to do
/usr/bin/enable PRINT_QUEUE_NAME
