[sane-devel] status SANE-V4l2 backend

Hello,

The question is does anyone knows the status of the sane-v4l2 backend?
The v4l backend depends on the v4l in the kernel, but the v4l kernel
part will be removed later this year.

Searching with google delivered some links, but nothing further.

On http://sane.alioth.debian.org/lists/sane-backends-external.html#VIDEO

this link http://video.inodes.org/sane-v4l2/ but gave only message:
Unknown host video.inodes.org
