[sane-devel] Problems to install a Mustek BearPaw 2448 TA Pro

Hello,

my problem is, that the above scanner is in the config files as
0x055f 0x0409

in libsane.db 
and in mustek_usb.conf I have made the same entry.
sane-find-scanner reports the same vendor and product ID, however claims it 
would be a HP USB-scanner

How can I get out of this situation and get my scanner running?
