[sane-devel] Install Scanner Newbie

Hello,

I am new to the list. I am trying to install my scanner.

running "sane-find-scanner" results in:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0, product=0x0701) at libusb:002:007

My  /etc/sane.d/avision.conf file has appears as follows:

option disable-gamma-table
option disable-calibration
option force-a4

#scsi AVISION
#scsi FCPA
#scsi MINOLTA
#scsi MITSBISH MCA-S600C
#scsi MITSBISH MCA-SS600
#scsi HP
#scsi hp

scsi /dev/scanner
usb libusb:002:007
usb 0x03f0 0x0701

However, when I try to scanimage -L or run XSane I get an error that no 
devices are found.

What step am I missing?
