Bonjour,

I have an Epson flatbed scanner 3490 photo. Worked without problem for
sometimes and now works only from times to times:

most of time I get the message quoted in the subject of this mail

sane-find-scanner find it

scanimage -L find it

but when I want to use it, I get this message.

I installed iscan, and sometimes when I run iscan, the scanner goes up
and I can use it with both iscan and sane.

I don't understand what happens and have absolutely no clue at all....

Sometimes at boot time, I get this message:

 USB 3-1 device descriptor read/64 error -71
(repeated four times)
USB 3-1 device not accepting address 5 error -71

In this case, I am sure that the scanner won't work...

Who can help me?

I'm running fc6 kernel 2.6.20-1.2952.fc6

Thanks
