I've uploaded the result of  'sh -x configure 1>1.configure 2>2.configure'  to

 http://www.fbakan.de/temp/config.zip

both for the configure version generated by autoconf 261 (as in sane-CVS now)
as well for comparision the logs after running autoconf 259 locally.
