[sane-devel] Problems with Genius ColorPage Vivid 4

Hello. I want to apologize for my english.

I have installed the Genius ColorPage Vivid 4 flatbed scanner in my 
Debian-lenny box following the instructions in gt68xx page.
The scanner works, but only in color mode. When I try to make it scan in 
Greyscale or Lineart modes, the device seems to work, but the result is 
always a page wholly in grey or with little squares in different tomes 
of grey.

I would like to know if anyone has faced the same problem and, in that 
case, if anyone has solved it.
