[sane-devel] Problem opening pdf-file

Hello everybody,

I am very happy using xane with ubuntu 7.10. Today I tried a 
multipage-scan which I saved as pdf. Now, when I try to open the file, 
the pdf-viewer as well as the pdf-editor, automatically shut down 
without notice. I cannot open the pdf-file. I even tried to open it as 
root, but this won't function either. Is there a way to fix this I 
couldn't figure out, is it a bug! I would be very grateful for a hint!
