[sane-devel] unable to join multiple xsane-outputs with ghostscript

I wish to combine a bumber of scan-outputs in one pdf-file. In the past I was
able to do so with the following command:
/usr/bin/gs -q -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite \
-sOutputFile=output.pdf input1.pdf input2.pdf

However, today I tried this (for the first time with xsane from opensuse 11.1)
and received a lot of errormessages:

**** Warning: File has an invalid xref entry: 4. Rebuilding xref table.

Anything renewed in XSane 0.995 that may have caused these errors?
The programs I used:
xsane-0.995-131.42
ghostscript-library-8.62-31.39

Thanks for your help.
