[sane-devel] /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsane HELP Please

        Hi,

When I am compiling sane application I get the error 

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsane
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Please let me know what is missing I have checked LD is present in /usr/bin/ then why this error message is blocking my application.
