[sane-devel] rts8891 and hp scanjet 4470c

Hi friends,

I am quite new here and bought me a 4470C. Now I am trying to install to
configure and compile the sources from sane-backends-rts8891.tar.gz to
have fun with my scanner. My system is Ubuntu8.10.

But to be honest I don't konw how can I configure and compile the
sources. Could one of me help me?

The scanner is identified by lsusb but if I type scanimage -d "hp..." I
get a segmentation default error.
