[sane-devel] Offering assistance on the following scanners

1. You might contact the hp3900 backend author about the higher
resolution on the hp 4370. It might be that the scanner is not
actually capable of the higher resolution in both X and Y directions,
and the windows driver is 'faking it'.

2. The MX340 is reported 'complete' in the development version of
sane-backends. You could try to upgrade and test it.

3. Are you sure your Lexmark has the same model number as your HP?
