[sane-devel] Epson Perfection 1250

Hello,

I'm using an Epson Perfection 1250 with xsane-0.996/libsane 1.0.20-9.  
I'm having a few issues with it, even though it is listed as fully  
supported.

First, acquiring a preview can take several minutes. I'll click  
"acquire preview" then I'll hear a click noise, and then after a few  
minutes or so it will begin scanning the preview. The same is true for  
taking the actual scan.

Second, I often get output that looks like this:

Sometimes the output is fine, sometime it looks like the above  
picture, or slighly different. It's consistent in that it's always  
tinted some color or another, though it isn't always purple --  
sometimes it's half-yellow tinted.
