[sane-devel] Epson perfection 3170 Photo

The epjitsu backend supports a few fujitsu machines which have epson
chips. There is a slight chance this backend could be modified to
support this scanner.

If the scanner is similar to any already supported scanner (w.r.t. chip and communication protocol) an existing backend might be possible to be adapted to support the scanner. If it is very different a completely new backend might be needed. I have no idea what is the case here. If you want more accurate information you can contact the maintainers of the SANE backends that currently support other Epson scanners or the sane-devel mailing list.
