[sane-devel] Can't get ADF to work with HP ScanJet c6270

I'm trying to get my scanner to use documents from the ADF. Using the
'normal mode' works fine.
SANE claims it is an C6200C, but it should be 6270A. I guess the C
instead of the A is the problem.

The problem:
$ scanadf -v -o testscan
scanadf: scanning image of size 2550x3507 pixels at 1 bits/pixel
scanadf: acquiring gray frame
Scanned document testscan

which will try to rescan the image from on the plate forever (I guess).

I tried using --source ADF:
$ scanadf -v -o testscan --source ADF
Scanned 0 pages

There are, of course, a few documents in the feeder. The scanner doesn't
make any sound or other sign that it pretends to do something.

$ sane-find-scanner
found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [Hewlett-Packard], product=0x0201 [HP
ScanJet 6200C]) at libusb:004:005

$ scanadf -L
device `hp:libusb:004:005' is a Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 62x0C flatbed
scanimage -L returns the same
