[sane-devel] Epson 3490

I am trying to get my Epson 3490 to work on 12.04 Ubuntu running on my AMD
64 machine.

Could you pleases point me to a page with an explanation of how to instal
backends.

I have tried with;

libsane-extras_1.0.18.12ubuntu1_amd64

and get this error

Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libltdl3 (>= 1.5.2-2)
